Presented by: Glen Hiemstra
Futurist Glen Hiemstra will explore future trends as they impact the future of transportation and business. Putting millions of people on airplanes every day, along with critical cargo, has created the modern world just as much as other technology breakthroughs. Looking ahead to the next couple of decades, the big trends – economy, population, energy, environment, technology – will influence the future of transportation. The interaction of commercial and private aviation, technologies like new materials and satellite guidance, aviation policies like greener skies, and a desire to continue to enhance access to flight promise an exciting, and challenging, time for aviation and the future of transportation.

Then the "Keep Austin Weird" shirts will come out and the party will move across the street to Esther's Follies, an Austin original, for an evening of comedy, political satire and fun. The culinary delights will continue at Esther's Follies with a Latin feast that features some of Austin's best Mexican food and margaritas!
