About the Speaker

Phil Roberts, PhD.
PAR Travel Tech and Sinclair Community College

Phil RobersPhil Roberts, PhD. is a currently teaching leadership all over the U.S. He is a graduate of the USAF Academy and has been involved in leadership study and education for over 40 years.

Roberts is a former director of corporate travel for the Ford Motor Company and past NBAA Board Chairman who served on the Association’s Board of Directors for more than a decade.

Currently, Roberts is president of Par Travel Tech, which proivides consulting services for corporate travel management, travel technology systems, business aviation management, and HR services for the aviation industry.

Roberts is a current member of the NBAA Professional Development Program (PDP) review committee and approved by NBAA to teach the L-1 and L-2 objectives for leadership at Sinclair Community College, where he teaches a one-semester leadership course in Dayton, OH.

His background and personal friendship with aerospace industry, military, scientific and academic leaders has provided a significant wealth of examples, situational understanding, real life leadership trials and successes. He is exceptionally qualified to relate the real world aspects of preparing for increased responsibility and leadership at all levels.

Any person who attends an NBAA convention, conference, seminar or other program grants permission to NBAA, its employees and agents (collectively "NBAA") to record his or her visual/audio images, including, but not limited to, photographs, digital images, voices, sound or video recordings, audio clips, or accompanying written descriptions, and, without notifying such person, to use his or her name and such images for any purpose of NBAA, including advertisements for NBAA and its programs.
