NBAA STAFF ON SITE IN ORLANDO BEGINNING NEXT TUESDAY
NBAA Convention Staff will be on site at the Orlando/Orange County Convention Center (OCCC)
beginning next Tuesday, September 30 to assist Exhibitors arriving at the Convention Center

ARMSTRONG AND CERNAN TO PRESENT FIRST ANNUAL COMBS AWARD
Astronauts Neil Armstrong and Eugene Cernan will join business aviation legend Harry B. Combs
in presenting the first annual Combs Award to photographer Dan Patterson during the NBAA2003
Opening General Session on Tuesday, October 7. This award, sponsored by the National Aviation
Hall of Fame (NAHF) and 1996 NAHF enshrinee Combs, honors Patterson for his photographic preservation

NICK SABITINI FEATURED IN NBAA2003 "MEET THE REGULATORS" SESSION
Nick Sabatini, FAA associate administrator for regulation and certification, will participate
in NBAA2003 as a featured speaker during the "Meet the Regulators" session on Tuesday,
October 7 at 4:00 p.m. Sabatini and other key regulators will present the latest information
on regulatory and certification issues affecting the business aviation community, including
international initiatives, D-RVSM, FOQA and the new Part 91 Subpart K rule. Don't miss your

SPECIAL
PROCEDURES FOR FLYING TO NBAA CONVENTION
In anticipation of a large number of aircraft operating to and from the Orlando, FL area in
conjunction with NBAA2003, the FAA Air Traffic Control System Command Center has established
a Special Traffic Management Program (STMP) for this event. Slot reservations will be required
for domestic, non-scheduled IFR arrivals and departures at Orlando-area airports from October
5 through October 9. To assist Static Display Exhibitors and Attendees, NBAA contracted with
the FAA to provide a flight service station (FSS) inside the NBAA Static Display Registration

WHEELS FOR WINGS
RAFFLE TO BENEFIT CORPORATE ANGEL NETWORK
Flying Magazine -- along with co-sponsors NBAA and Jaguar -- will host its Wheels for Wings
raffle at NBAA2003. Exhibitors and Delegates will be eligible to win a two-year lease on a
2004 Jaguar X-Type 3.0 liter model contributed by Jaguar. Raffle tickets will be sold at Flying
Magazine's exhibit, Booth 2153 in Hall A, beginning Wednesday, October 7. Ticket proceeds
will benefit the Corporate Angel Network (CAN), a not-for-profit organization that arranges
free air transportation for cancer patients using the empty seats on corporate jets. The winning
Jaguar ticket will be drawn by aerobatic champion Patty Wagstaff on Thursday, October 8 at

LOUNGE AND NBAA CAFÉ
Exhibitors who need a break to relax and refuel may stop at the Exhibitor Lounge, sponsored
by TÜV America, Inc. and located at Booth 4001 in Hall C of the OCCC. In addition, a
full-service restaurant will be available in Hall E of the OCCC. The NBAA Café is able
to accommodate up to 1,000 patrons at a time. Menus will vary each day from sandwiches to
hot meals. For reservations, call the Levy Service Desk at (407) 685-5052 or visit the restaurant
reservation desk in Lobby C of the OCCC. Walk-ins also will be accepted. The NBAA Café

EXHIBITOR PARKING INFORMATION
Parking is available to Exhibitors at the OCCC for $10 per day. Exhibitors are eligible for
"in-and-out" privileges from Wednesday, October 1 through Sunday, October 12, if
they present Exhibitor badge credentials at the parking ticket booth. For other Exhibitor

STATIC
DISPLAY ADDENDUM, CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE DUE THIS WEEK
The signed Addendum to the Application for Static Display Space is due to NBAA by this Friday,
September 26. The Addendum also contains the insurance limits and mailing/fax information
for each additional insured. Exhibitor aircraft will not be permitted onto the Static Display
unless each additional insured sends a copy of their Certificate of Insurance by September
26 to NBAA's Joe Hart, Kay Cutter of Showalter Flying Service, Kevin McNamara of Greater Orlando
Aviation Authority at Orlando Executive Airport, and Amanda (Johnson) Dumont of The Freeman

AIRCRAFT ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES, FSS STATION
The Aircraft Arrivals and Departures form is due by Friday, September 26, to NBAA's Joe Hart
at jhart@nbaa.org. The timely submission of information will help NBAA coordinate Static Display
aircraft arrivals and departures with Orlando Executive Airport and Showalter Flying Service.
Updates to the form can be sent as information changes. All Static Display aircraft must arrive
by 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 5. Please review the Aircraft Information Request Form concerning
late arrivals. No Static Display aircraft are permitted to depart before 3:30 p.m. on Thursday,

NBAA REGIONAL FORUM TO BE HELD IN SCOTTSDALE, AZ ON NOV. 13
Make plans now to exhibit at NBAA's Business Aviation Regional Forum in Scottsdale, AZ, on
November 13. This one-day event, hosted by Scottsdale AirCenter, will feature more than 40
aircraft on Static Display, 60 Exhibitors and a full slate of informational sessions. Exhibit

2004 NBAA REGIONAL FORUM
SCHEDULE SET
NBAA has selected the following dates and locations for the 2004 Business Aviation Regional
Forum program: March 10 in West Palm Beach, June 24 in Chicago, August 26 in Seattle and November
18 in Dallas/Ft. Worth. Exhibitor information for the entire 2004 program will mail in November,
