SEARCH COMMITTEE
WORKING TO IDENTIFY NEW NBAA PRESIDENT AND CEO
A Search Committee headed by NBAA Vice Chairman Ken Emerick has been formed to identify candidates
for the position of President and CEO of NBAA, following the departure last week of Shelley
Longmuir from the Association's staff. Other members of the Committee include NBAA Board Members
Sylvia L. Jennings, James E. Cooling and Associate Member Advisory Council Vice Chairman Aaron
Hilkemann. Spencer Stewart, an executive search firm, has been retained to provide support
for the Committee. Timetable and criteria for the search are now under development. For more

MORE THAN 3,500 EXPECTED
TO ATTEND LABACE2004 NEXT WEEK
LABACE2004, the only Latin American exhibition of its kind to focus exclusively on business
aviation, will be held April 15 to 17 in São Paulo, Brazil. This event will showcase
200 exhibits from 95 Exhibiting Companies inside Transamérica Expo Center and nearly
20 corporate aircraft on Static Display at Congonhas Airport. The Opening General Session
will feature keynote speakers Anderson Markiewicz, Associação Brasileira de
Aviação Geral (ABAG) chairman, and NBAA Senior Vice President, Operations Robert
P. Blouin. NBAA Board Chairman, Interim President and CEO Donald E. Baldwin and NBAA Board

PRIME EXHIBIT SPACE AVAILABLE
FOR REGIONAL FORUM IN CHICAGO
NBAA's next Business Aviation Regional Forum will be held at DuPage Flight Center on DuPage
Airport (DPA) in West Chicago, IL on June 24. Approximately 50 indoor Exhibitors, 30 aircraft

EBACE2004 EXHIBIT SALES EXCEED
2003 TOTAL BY ALMOST 20 PERCENT
EBACE2004, the only European exhibition of its kind to focus exclusively on business aviation,
will be held May 25, 26, 27, 2004, in Geneva, Switzerland. As of April 5, 2004, 728 exhibit
booth spaces have been sold for EBACE2004, an 18.4-percent increase over the final booth total
for EBACE2003, which was 615. This year, more than 6,000 Attendees will view the products
and services of over 225 business aviation Exhibitors located inside Geneva Palexpo, and more
than 30 aircraft will be on Static Display at Geneva International Airport. For more information,

NEW ASIAN BUSINESS AVIATION
CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION PLANS UNDERWAY
To promote business aviation in Asia, NBAA has created the Asian Business Aviation Conference
& Exhibition (ABACE). The Association first will host an ABACE Forum on July 15 and 16,
2004, at the Hong Kong Business Aviation Center on Hong Kong International Airport (HKG).
Modeled after the successful NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention in the United States, EBACE
in Europe and LABACE in Latin America, the ABACE Show will debut in Shanghai, China in the
summer of 2005. Dates for the ABACE Show in 2005 will be announced shortly. For more information,

NBAA2004 EXHIBIT
BOOTH LOTTERY SCHEDULED FOR MID-MAY
NBAA will advise all NBAA 57th Annual Meeting & Convention Exhibitors that have submitted
an application for exhibit booth space at the Las Vegas Convention Center of their booth assignment
in mid-May. If your company has not submitted a booth application, excellent space is still
available. This October, the NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention returns to Las Vegas for
the first time since 1998, when an all-time attendance record was set. For NBAA2004, the Association

NBAA GALA MOVED
TO EVENING OF WEDNESDAY, OCT. 13
In order for NBAA2004 Exhibitors to host their customers at a spectacular event with world-class
entertainment, the Association has moved the NBAA Gala from the traditional Thursday evening
to the evening of Wednesday, October 13. Although the 2004 entertainment has not yet been
decided, past events have featured stars such as Tony Bennett, Johnny Mathis, Kenny Rogers,
Natalie Cole and Marvin Hamlisch. This year's Gala will be held in the ballroom of the Delegate
Headquarters hotel, the Paris Las Vegas. Gala sponsorship opportunities are now available,
including the pre-Gala Reception and Entertainment, or invite your customers by purchasing

LABACE2004 ATTENDEE CUSTOMS ARRIVAL PROCEDURES AND VISA
REQUIREMENTS
LABACE2004 Attendees are advised that Brazilian Customs is experiencing a work slow down and
customs processing may take longer than expected. A Brazilian government-issued business visa
(temporary visa: VITEM-II) is required for some non-Brazilian residents (including American
and Canadian residents) to exhibit at or attend LABACE2004. These non-Brazilian Attendees
must receive a visa from their Brazilian embassy or consulate prior to departure from the

DIRECTORY OF EXHIBITING COMPANIES DEADLINE IS THIS FRIDAY
A more streamlined and up-to-date EBACE Directory of Exhibiting Companies will debut at EBACE2004.
Distributed to all Registrants on site with their credentials, the EBACE2004 Directory of
Exhibiting Companies will include pertinent information relative to exhibits, meetings, social
gatherings, shuttle bus schedules and other events. Full-color and black-and-white full-page
advertising opportunities are available. The submission deadline for advertising in the EBACE2004
Directory of Exhibiting Companies is this Friday, April 9 and all artwork must be received

NBAA is launching a streamlined, more up-to-date version of the NBAA 57th Annual Meeting &
Convention Official Directory of Exhibiting Companies. Distributed to Registrants at the Convention
with their credentials, the Directory is helpful in familiarizing visitors with the happenings
at the year's most important international business aviation event and provides many advertising
opportunities. In addition, all advertisers in the 2004 NBAA Directory of Member Companies,
Aircraft & Personnel are eligible to receive a 15-percent discount if they advertise in
