Attendance Up 33 Percent at LABACE2005
NBAA and the Associação Brasileira de Aviação Geral (ABAG) last week jointly hosted the 3rd Annual Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (LABACE2005) in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This event, the only Latin American exhibition to focus exclusively on business aviation, had a record-breaking total of 4,971 Attendees, a 33 percent increase in attendance over LABACE2004. It also featured special appearances by NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen and ABAG Chairman Anderson Markiewicz; a keynote speech by FAA Deputy Administrator Robert A. Sturgell, who also opened the event at a ribbon-cutting ceremony; and a variety of in-depth informational sessions on operational issues of interest to the Latin American business aviation community. This year LABACE displayed the products and services of 87 Exhibiting Companies at Transamérica Expo Center and 21 static aircraft on Congonhas Airport. Farmingdale Forum Indoor Space Sold Out; Other Opportunities Remain
NBAA's next Business Aviation Regional Forum will be held April 21 at Republic Airport (FRG) in Farmingdale, NY. NBAA2005 Priority Lottery Is Underway
The NBAA 58th Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA2005) will be held November 15, 16, 17, 2005, in New Orleans, LA. The Priority Lottery booth placement process is underway, and booth confirmation will be available in mid-May. Booth spaces are still available. NBAA2005 Directory Of Exhibiting Companies Advertising Deadline
The NBAA 58th Annual Meeting & Convention Official Directory of Exhibiting Companies will be distributed to Registrants at the Convention with their credentials. The Directory is helpful in familiarizing visitors with the happenings at the year's most important international business aviation event and provides many advertising opportunities. In addition, all advertisers in the 2005 NBAA Directory of Member Companies, Aircraft & Personnel are eligible to receive a 15-percent discount if they advertise in the NBAA Official Directory of Exhibiting Companies. Insertion Orders are due by September 6, and artwork is due no later than September 20.
