NBAA Convention Ranks in Top 10 of U.S. Trade
Shows
The NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention has risen to eighth place in the ranking of largest U.S. trade shows based on square footage occupied by
exhibits in 2006, according to Tradeshow Week 200. "We are pleased at the continued growth in support from the business aviation community for
this event and for the opportunity to enhance public understanding of business aviation," NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen said. "These events
showcase the diversity and vitality of business aviation, its industrial and technology innovation, contributions to the national economy, and growth

Information-Packed EBACE Breaks All Previous Records
The 7th Annual European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE2007) set a new attendance record last month by drawing 11,267 Attendees,
a 15 percent increase over the 2006 total of 9,743. This three-day event provided many informative sessions designed to promote the safety and
operational excellence of the European business aviation community. EBACE2007 also featured 354 Exhibitors occupying 1,423 booth spaces, an
improvement over last year's 292 Exhibitors in 1,206 booth spaces. A record-setting 61 business aircraft were displayed, with 56 business aircraft on
the Static Display at Geneva International Airport and five aircraft (including four helicopters) at Geneva PALEXPO. To view show highlights,

NBAA2007 to Celebrate Several Industry Milestones
At the NBAA 60th Annual Meeting & Convention this September in Atlanta, GA, the Association will celebrate not only its 60th anniversary, but
also the 100th anniversary of powered flight in Georgia and several other noteworthy milestones for NBAA Member Companies. Gulfstream will
commemorate 40 years in Georgia, Cessna will celebrate its 80th anniversary and Hawker Beechcraft will mark 75 years. NBAA2007 will continue to build

Commemorative Flight Set for NBAA's 60th
Anniversary
NBAA's 60th Annual Meeting & Convention activities will include a commemorative flight on Saturday, September 22, from New York, the site of
NBAA's first meeting in 1947, to Atlanta, the site of this year's Convention. The flight will mark both NBAA's 60th anniversary and Georgia's
centennial of flight. NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen will be joined by two widely recognized figures in the general aviation community: Pat Epps of
Atlanta-based Epps Aviation and Jamail Larkins, a Georgia resident made famous for obtaining his pilot's license at 14. "Pat and Jamail represent the
best of aviation," Bolen said. "We're looking forward to the flight as a showcase for our industry's proud history, its diverse make-up today and its

NBAA Opens 2007 Convention to Students and Local Business

Volunteers Needed to Help Build a Playground in Atlanta
To celebrate its 60th anniversary and the Georgia centennial of flight, NBAA will build an aviation-themed playground for the children of Atlanta.
The park will be the result of a partnership between NBAA, The Home Depot, the local community around Fulton County Airport (site of the NBAA2007
Static Display of Aircraft), and KaBOOM!, a national non-profit organization. NBAA is calling on Members to help recruit coworkers and customers to

Live and Silent Auctions to Benefit NBAA Charities
NBAA will hold the 3rd Annual Live and Silent Auctions at NBAA2007 to support NBAA Charities, a charitable fund established to provide support to
worthy causes in the business aviation community. The Live Auction will be held during the NBAA Benefit Gala on Wednesday, September 26. Silent
Auction items will be on display in Lobby C of the Georgia World Congress Center on Monday, September 24 from 12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m.; Tuesday,
September 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; and Wednesday, September 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Items won in the Silent Auction may be picked up on
Thursday, September 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the registration area in the Hall C Lobby of the Georgia World Congress Center. To donate an
