Online Registration for NBAA2007 Open to Exhibitors
NBAA's 60th Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA2007) is expected to draw thousands of Attendees from around the world to Atlanta, GA this September 25 through 27. Celebrating NBAA's 60th anniversary and several other industry milestones, the event will be located at the Georgia World Congress Center, with a Static Display of Aircraft at Fulton County Airport. Register online in advance for this year's Convention to save money and time. Advanced registration is $135; on-site registration is $160. Those who register in advance can speed their entrance to the exhibit floor on-site by picking up their badges, badge-holders and lanyards at the self-registration kiosks. NBAA2007 Show Guide Ad Order Deadline This Friday
Advertise in the NBAA2007 Show Guide & Directory of Exhibiting Companies and spread your company's message to the more than 30,000 Attendees at the Convention. The Show Guide will be distributed to all Attendees along with their credentials and contains pertinent information relative to exhibits, Information Sessions, social gatherings, shuttle bus service and other events at NBAA2007. Show Guide advertisers also have the exclusive opportunity to purchase web advertising on the official NBAA2007 web site at http://www.nbaa.org/2007. Insertion orders for advertising in the NBAA2007 Show Guide are due this Friday, July 13, and artwork is due July 27. Co-Exhibitors for NBAA2007 Due Now
NBAA2007 Exhibitors: Have you provided NBAA's Exhibitor team with your list of Co-Exhibitors for NBAA2007 yet? NBAA needs to receive this list annually to ensure that Co-Exhibitors appear in the Show Guide, on "You Are Here" boards at the Convention site and on booth signage. The deadline for Co-Exhibitors to appear in the Show Guide is July 15. To submit Co-Exhibitors information, contact NBAA's Maureen Cameron at mcameron@nbaa.org.

3rd Annual Benefit Auctions Now Accepting Donations
NBAA will hold its 3rd Annual Benefit Auctions this year during the 60th Annual Meeting & Convention. The Benefit Auctions will support NBAA Charities, a charitable fund established to provide support to worthy causes in the business aviation community. NBAA is now accepting donations for both the Live and Silent Auctions. The Live Auction will be held during the NBAA Benefit Gala on the evening of September 26. Silent Auction items will be on display in the Georgia World Congress Center in Lobby C during the Convention. This year's Benefit Gala will be held the evening of Wednesday, September 26, in the Murphy Ballroom of the Georgia World Congress Center. One event highlight will be the 3rd Annual Live Auction, where acclaimed auctioneer and member of the business aviation community Dick Friel will lead a lively round of bidding to benefit NBAA Charities. Help NBAA Build a Playground in Atlanta
To celebrate its 60th anniversary and the Georgia centennial of flight, NBAA will build an aviation-themed playground for the children of Atlanta. The park will be the result of a partnership between NBAA, The Home Depot, the local community around Fulton County Airport (site of the NBAA2007 Static Display of Aircraft), and KaBOOM!, a national non-profit organization. NBAA is calling on Members to help recruit coworkers and customers to make this playground a reality. NBAA2007 Opens Its Doors to Students and Local Business Aviation
To commemorate the Georgia Centennial of Flight, NBAA will open the doors of its 60th Annual Meeting & Convention free of charge to college students and members of the local business aviation community on the event's third day–Thursday, September 27–as part of Georgia Aviation Day. NBAA Chairman's Charity Classic Sponsorships Now Available
The NBAA 11th Annual Chairman's Charity Classic Golf Tournament is scheduled for Sunday, September 23, at the Stone Mountain Golf Club in Stone Mountain, GA. The tournament will be held in conjunction with the NBAA 60th Annual Meeting & Convention, and all proceeds will benefit NBAA Charities. Hundreds Attend St. Louis Regional Forum; Oakland Event Set for Nov. 8
On June 8, over 600 people attended NBAA's Business Aviation Regional Forum on Spirit of St. Louis Airport (SUS) in Missouri. Sessions were held on the top issues facing business aviation today, with a special focus on non-business uses of business aircraft, pandemic preparedness and crew resource management. During the event, local elected officials were on-hand to discuss how business aviation, and general aviation airports in particular, drive economic development in the surrounding region. The next Regional Forum will be held November 8 at Metropolitan Oakland International Airport (OAK) in California. NBAA Still Accepting Donations for New Journalism Scholarship Fund
Last April, NBAA announced the creation of a new scholarship in honor of David W. Ewald, a beloved figure in business aviation who spent nearly 50 years serving the community as a magazine publisher and industry spokesperson. The scholarship, which will be presented for the first time at NBAA2007 in September, will recognize a promising high school or college student planning a career in journalism, preferably with an aviation focus. Donations still are being accepted for the scholarship fund and can be made payable to NBAA and sent to the David W. Call for Advertisers: NBAA's Fall Journal
The NBAA Journal of Business Aviation offers aviation marketers an excellent medium to present products and services to NBAA Members who represent the core of the business aircraft marketplace. This publication examines a range of management, operational, safety and maintenance issues for business aviation operators. The publishing date for the next Journal is September 2007, and this issue will be distributed on-site at the NBAA 60th Annual Meeting & Convention. Save the Date: 2008 Maintenance Management Conference
NBAA's Maintenance Management Conference will be held next year from April 15 to 17, in Daytona Beach, FL. The three-day Conference is business aviation's only event dedicated to aircraft maintenance and technical operations management. Conference Attendees are business aviation professionals with management responsibilities and purchasing authority for aircraft maintenance, technical operations and hangar facilities compliance. The event will feature tabletop exhibits and is designed to share the latest in product developments and industry trends.
