Political Couple Carville and Matalin Will Return to NBAA's Annual Meeting
& Convention
NBAA has announced that famed political couple James Carville and Mary Matalin will be featured speakers at the NBAA 61st Annual Meeting &
Convention (NBAA2008) in Orlando, FL. Carville, a business aviation enthusiast, and Matalin will offer their perspectives on the November
presidential election as they serve as guest speakers at the Opening General Session on Monday, October 6 at 8:30 a.m., marking the duo's second
appearance at the Association's annual event. NBAA2008 will take place this year on Monday, October 6 through Wednesday, October 8 instead of the
usual Tuesday-to-Thursday schedule at Orlando's Orange County Convention Center and Orlando Executive Airport (ORL). For more information, visit:

NBAA's 2008 Leadership Conference Among Most Successful
Ever
NBAA has announced that the Association's 2008 Leadership Conference, held in San Antonio, TX on February 27 and 28, drew the largest crowd ever,
bringing together business aviation leaders from across the country. Over 240 business aviation flight department managers and personnel were in
attendance at the two-day event, which featured an all-star lineup of speakers who challenged Attendees to examine key strategic considerations for

Recipients of Business Aviation Management Scholarship
Announced
NBAA has announced the first two individuals to receive the Donald A. Baldwin Sr. Business Aviation Management Scholarship, given annually to benefit
individuals seeking to become NBAA Certified Aviation Managers (CAMs). Recipients Michael S. Hoffner, quality assurance and safety manager at Syncro
Aircraft Interiors in Van Nuys, CA, and Nathaniel Medina, facilities manager at Spirit Aerosystems in Wichita, KS, have both been approved to take
the CAM Exam. The two award recipients were recognized at the NBAA Leadership Conference in San Antonio, TX. Read the full press release at:

2008 National General Aviation Award Recipients Named
Through the General Aviation Awards Program, a cooperative effort between the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and more than a dozen industry
sponsors, aviation professionals in the fields of flight instruction, aviation maintenance, avionics and safety have been recognized for their
industry contributions. The 2008 honorees are: Timothy Daniel "Tim" Adkison of Benton, KY, Avionics Technician of the Year; Max Trescott of Mountain
View, CA, Certificated Flight Instructor (CFI) of the Year; Michael Daniel "Mike" Busch of Arroyo Grande, CA, Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT)
of the Year; and John Anthony Teipen of University City, MO, FAA Safety Team Representative of the Year. FAA Administrator Robert Sturgell will

Static Display Sold Out for This Month's San Antonio Regional Forum
The next NBAA Regional Forum will take place on March 27 at the Valero Hangar on San Antonio International Airport (SAT) in San Antonio, TX. The
one-day learning and networking event is designed to meet the needs of the regional business aviation community, and to provide an introduction to
local business leaders interested in learning more about business aviation. The static display already has sold out with more than 20 aircraft, and

Exhibitors Up for 2008 Maintenance Management Conference
NBAA's 2008 Maintenance Management Conference (MMC) is expected to host 50 Exhibitors this year, up from 25 last year. The MMC, which will be held
from April 15 to 17 in Daytona Beach, FL, is business aviation's only event dedicated to aircraft maintenance and technical operations management.
Conference Attendees are business aviation professionals with management responsibilities and purchasing authority for aircraft maintenance,
technical operations and hangar facilities compliance. The event is designed to share the latest in product developments and industry trends. The
