NBAA Announces New Event, 'Light Airplane Conference & Exhibition'
NBAA last week announced that it will host a new, three-day industry event, the Light Airplane Conference & Exhibition (LAC&E). NBAA made the
announcement during the annual Sun 'n Fun Fly-In, held in Lakeland, FL. The show will serve as the industry's premier event dedicated to operators
who use light airplanes to make their businesses more successful. Specifically, LAC&E will focus on business owners and other operators of light
jets, turboprops and piston airplanes. "When we ask our Member Companies with light airplanes how NBAA can better serve them, the answer we
frequently get is a request for an event specific to their needs and concerns," said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. "We have heard from this
important part of our membership, and we're responding with this new event specific to light airplane ownership and operations." For more

ICAO Pres. Roberto Kobeh González to Be Featured Speaker at
NBAA2008
NBAA has announced that International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) President Roberto Kobeh González will be a featured speaker at the
Opening General Session of NBAA's 61st Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA2008) in Orlando, FL. An aviation industry veteran, Kobeh has been
recognized by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Mexican government and the Central American Corporation of Air Navigation Services for
his contributions to the industry. NBAA2008 will take place this year on Monday, October 6 through Wednesday, October 8, instead of the usual

NBAA Continues Commitment to Philanthropic Organizations
The NBAA Charities Benefit Gala again will be held this year to benefit NBAA Charities, a charitable fund established to provide support to entities
using business aircraft for humanitarian efforts. This year's entertainment will feature The Blues Brothers, with Dan Aykroyd and Jim Belushi at the
helm. In addition, the Association will hold its 4th Annual NBAA Charities Auctions, lending support to philanthropic organizations, including Angel

NBAA Maintenance Management Conference Is This Week
NBAA will host its 23rd Annual Maintenance Management Conference (MMC) this week from April 15 to 17 at the Hilton Daytona Beach Ocean Walk Village
in Daytona Beach, FL. The MMC, designed for those who own aircraft or oversee day-to-day operational activities, will host a record-setting 60

The NBAA 2008 Directory of Member Companies, Aircraft & Personnel will be printed soon. In order to include updated information in the
printed directory, NBAA Member representatives must make changes to their company's membership record by Friday, April 18. Directory update forms
will not be mailed this year. For the first time, Members will update their information online through "My NBAA Profile," NBAA's new online tool that
makes it faster and easier for Members to ensure their record is accurate and up-to-date. Changes can be made at any time and will be reflected

ABACE Dates Announced for 2009
The dates and locale for the 2009 NBAA Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE2009) have been determined. Hong Kong again will
host the annual event, which will take place next year on Wednesday, February 11 and Thursday, February 12. Indoor exhibits will be located at the
Asia World Expo, with a Static Display of Aircraft at Hong Kong Business Aviation Centre. This year's event was an enormous success, with a total of
1,131 people and 29 Exhibitors in attendance, and numerous sessions featuring industry experts discussing airspace and regulatory issues for
