NBAA2008 Schedule of Events Is Now Online
The program for the NBAA 61st Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA2008) is now available online for review. NBAA2008 will be held at the Orange County
Convention Center in Orlando, FL from Monday, October 6 through Wednesday, October 8, with a Static Display of Aircraft at Orlando Executive Airport
(ORL). The event will feature nearly 33,000 Attendees, over 1,200 Exhibitors, 120 aircraft on static display and over 100 Information Sessions.
Additional highlights include the 12th Annual Chairman's Charity Classic Golf Tournament and the NBAA Charities Gala, featuring the NBAA Annual Live

4th Annual NBAA Charities Auctions Now Accepting Donations
Donations are now being accepted for NBAA's 4th Annual Charities Auctions. The Live and Silent Auctions support NBAA Charities, a charitable fund
established to provide assistance from the Association and the business aviation community to a wide range of philanthropic organizations, including
Angel Flight America, the Bush-Clinton Katrina Fund, the Corporate Angel Network and the National Air and Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center.
The Live Auction will be held during the NBAA Charities Gala on the evening of Tuesday, October 7. Silent Auction items will be on display prior to

NBAA Chairman's Charity Classic Sponsorships Now

The NBAA 12th Annual Chairman's Charity Classic Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, October 4, at the ChampionsGate Golf Resort in
ChampionsGate, FL. The tournament will be held in conjunction with the NBAA 61st Annual Meeting & Convention, and all proceeds will benefit NBAA
Charities. Nearly $400,000 has been raised for various charities since the Classic's founding in 1997. Online registration will be available in the

NBAA's New Light Business Airplane Event Is Coming to San Diego in March
NBAA's Inaugural Light Business Airplane Exhibition & Conference (LBA2009), taking place in San Diego, CA from March 12-14, 2009, will be dedicated
to operators who use light business airplanes to make their enterprises more successful. The event will feature a host of Information Sessions
focusing on topics of interest to business owners and other operators of light jets, turboprops and piston airplanes. Sessions will feature
presentations from industry experts on choosing the right airplane for your business needs, aviation tax planning for owner-operators and small

Save the Date: ABACE2009
The dates and locale for the 2009 NBAA Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE2009) have been determined. Hong Kong again will host
the annual event, which will take place next year on Wednesday, February 11 and Thursday, February 12. Indoor exhibits will be located at the Asia
World Expo, with a Static Display of Aircraft at Hong Kong Business Aviation Centre. This year's event was an enormous success, with a total of 1,131
people and 29 Exhibitors in attendance, and numerous sessions featuring industry experts discussing airspace and regulatory issues for operating in

The next NBAA Business Aviation Regional Forum will be held on September 10 on Hanscom Field (BED) in Bedford, MA. The one-day event is a learning

Several NBAA Scholarship Applications Due Aug. 1
Applications for five NBAA scholarships currently are available online: the Lawrence Ginocchio Aviation Scholarship, which benefits students at
NBAA/University Aviation Association (UAA) member institutions; the NORDAM Dee Howard/Etienne Fage Scholarship, for students at Embry-Riddle
Aeronautical University; the USAIG PDP Scholarship, for students at NBAA/UAA institutions offering NBAA's Professional Development Program; the
William M. Fanning Maintenance Scholarship, for students in airframe & powerplant (A&P) programs at approved Federal Aviation Regulation Part 147
schools; and the Alan H. Conklin Business Aviation Management Scholarship, for undergraduates pursuing careers in business aviation management at

NBAA 13th Annual Flight Attendants Conference Most Well
Attended Yet
The NBAA 13th Annual Flight Attendants Conference (FAC) held on June 27 and 28 in Tucson, AZ was the most well attended FAC to date, with 276
Attendees on-site. The Conference focused on concerns facing business aviation professionals, such as safety awareness, security and cultural
diversity. NBAA's Steve Brown, vice president, operations, one of several presenters, highlighted the Association's efforts to help cabin crews face
