NBAA2009 Is Just Around the Corner – Register Now!
This year, it is more important than ever for the business aviation community to join together and demonstrate its strength. The NBAA 62nd Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA2009), to be held from October 20 to 22 in Orlando, FL, provides the ideal forum to demonstrate that business aviation is well and contributing greatly to the economic success of the country. Attendees from every segment of the business aviation industry will be present, representing companies from 82 countries from around the world. Highlights of the event will include appearances by keynote speakers such as FAA Administrator Randy Babbitt, Forbes publisher Rich Karlgaard and golf legend Arnold Palmer. NBAA Introduces New Jobs Resource for Members
NBAA is pleased to announce a new online resource called Business Aviation Jobs. The new job board features search abilities, allowing job seekers to find openings by position, geographic location or type of operation. Those seeking jobs can upload resumes, search available jobs, sign up for job alerts and take advantage of career tips and tools, all free of charge. Additionally, hiring companies can post openings and search resumes efficiently to find qualified candidates quickly. As an introductory offer, NBAA is offering two months of free job postings for NBAA Member Companies seeking to fill job openings. After that, employers can pay a small fee for a single, 30-day job posting and take advantage of discounts for multiple postings. Start using this resource now at:

NBAA's Convention Resources Boost Exhibitors' Marketing Plans
While NBAA's Convention is already business aviation's most effective venue for buyers and sellers to connect, the Association makes the event even more valuable for Exhibitors by supporting their marketing efforts. Charity Benefit Tickets Still Available, Donations Still Being Accepted
NBAA Members are cordially invited to attend the 2009 NBAA/CAN Charity Benefit with Live and Silent Auctions, which has already attracted an impressive list of donated auction items. The sole beneficiary of this year's Charity Benefit is Corporate Angel Network (CAN), a charitable organization that eases the burden of travel for cancer patients by arranging free flights to treatment centers using empty seats on business aircraft. Attending the Charity Benefit and participating in the Live and Silent Auctions are ideal ways for companies to show support for CAN, which is more important now than ever in this economic climate. The event will be held on October 21 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Rosen Centre Hotel. This year's featured musical entertainment is Foreigner. NBAA will hold its 13th Annual Chairman's Charity Classic Golf Tournament on Sunday, October 18, at Grand Cypress Golf Club in Orlando, FL in conjunction with NBAA2009. NBAA Chairman Jeffrey W. Lee will be on-hand as this year's tournament host. All proceeds from the 2009 tournament will benefit NBAA Charities, a non-profit entity supporting philanthropic organizations and initiatives that use general aviation airplanes for humanitarian purposes. This event provides an ideal setting for networking with your customers and industry colleagues, as well as many options to prominently display your company's branding. NBAA Unveils John H. Winant Award
NBAA has announced a new award, the John H. Winant Award, in memory of the legendary Association leader who served for five decades, beginning with his leadership on the Board of Directors. The new award will recognize members of NBAA's Board whose service to the business aviation community extends well beyond their Board tenure. Kings Preview LBA Conference on NBAA Flight Plan Podcast
The latest NBAA Flight Plan podcast features an interview with aviation veterans John and Martha King. Don't Miss Out – Lottery Deadline for S&D Conference Is Oct. 2
The Exhibitor lottery deadline is October 2 for the NBAA 21st Annual Schedulers & Dispatchers (S&D) Conference, to be held January 27 to 29 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, TX. The S&D Conference is an annual educational event that provides timely and valuable information on topics of interest to those responsible for coordinating the use of business aircraft.
