NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS
EBACE2010 Expected to Be a Strong Show
Since its founding in 2001, the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) has grown to become the premier educational event and gathering place for the European business aviation community. Next month from May 4 to 6 in Geneva, Switzerland, the 10th Annual EBACE will celebrate the top milestones of this community over the past decade. To date, EBACE registration is 20 percent ahead of 2009, and hotel bookings are up nearly 15 percent. More than 400 Exhibitors are registered to fill Halls 6 and 7 of Geneva Palexpo, and the sold-out Static Display of Aircraft will feature 63 business aircraft. Register for EBACE2010 today by visiting:

Volcanic Eruption Not Impacting Planning for EBACE2010
The recent volcanic eruptions in Iceland have not disrupted planning for EBACE2010, scheduled to take place from May 4 to 6 in Geneva. NBAA and the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) continue to monitor developments and stay in communication both with government officials involved in international aviation system coordination and with representatives of the host site, Geneva Palexpo. At this time, EBACE is not expected to be impacted by the situation. NBAA and EBAA will continue to keep Members informed of any developments that may affect planning for EBACE2010. For the latest information, visit the EBACE web site:

EBACE Reception to Celebrate Global Reach of Business Aviation
During EBACE2010, NBAA and EBAA will co-host a reception on May 4, titled "Celebrating the Global Reach of Business Aviation," to recognize the industry's decade of accomplishment. In support of this event, NBAA and EBAA have released a white paper detailing the significant developments for the European business aviation community over the last 10 years – from steady marketplace growth, to a heightened recognition of the industry's benefits, to measureable progress on the legislative and regulatory priorities for business aviation. The reception will be held between Halls 6 and 7 in Geneva Palexpo from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. local time. Review the white paper at:

Twitter users can search Twitter using the hashtag #EBACE for the latest postings related to the show. Exhibitors are also encouraged to use that hashtag when tweeting their own announcements to ensure that their information is easily found through the popular social networking application.
