Nearly 1,000 Attendees are expected at this month's NBAA Regional Forum, to be held on August 18 at DB Aviation at Waukegan Airport near Chicago, IL. U.S. Chamber President to Address NBAA2010 Attendees
Thomas J. Donohue, president and CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, will serve as a keynote speaker during the Opening General Session of the NBAA 63rd Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA2010), to be held from October 19 to 21 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. Donohue's participation in NBAA's Convention highlights the long-standing importance of the event in bringing together leaders from business and government to articulate the value of business aviation to citizens, companies and communities across the U.S. NBAA will showcase the excitement surrounding the Convention's kickoff by holding the Opening General Session right on the show's exhibit floor, a highly popular practice first introduced last year. New Exhibitor Service Center: Easy Access to Valuable Resources
The Association recently launched the NBAA2010 Exhibitor Service Center, an online portal that provides Exhibitors with password-protected access to valuable exhibit-planning resources, including the Exhibitor Service Kit, event details, reminders, policies, procedures and official show logos. Exhibitors who are paid in full should have already received log-in instructions. Don't Miss August Deadlines for NBAA2010 Show Guide Advertising
Advertising in the NBAA2010 Show Guide & Directory of Exhibiting Companies is one of the best ways for companies to share their message with nearly 25,000 Attendees at NBAA2010 this October. This essential publication will be distributed to all Attendees with their credentials and contains pertinent information relative to exhibits, sessions, social gatherings, shuttle bus service and other show events. Arnold Palmer and Chuck McKinnon to Be Honored at NBAA2010
Arnold Palmer, the legendary golfer and esteemed businessman who serves as a voice for the No Plane No Gain advocacy campaign, will receive the 2010 NBAA Meritorious Service to Aviation Award, and Chuck McKinnon, a business pilot and aviation legend, will receive the 2010 NBAA John P. "Jack" Doswell Award. Following tradition, both awards will be presented during NBAA2010. Aviator-Journalist Miles O'Brien to Emcee CAN Benefit
The NBAA/CAN Charity Benefit, held at the Association's Convention each year to raise money for Corporate Angel Network (CAN), will feature one of aviation's own as master of ceremonies this year, with veteran aerospace news broadcaster Miles O'Brien presiding over the event. "We're very excited that Miles O'Brien will join us for this year's NBAA/CAN Charity Benefit," said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. "As an aviator, Miles is ideally suited to share in the fun and banter with the auctioneer and audience at the event." Learn more at:

View Convention Press Conference Schedule Online
NBAA's Convention is the year's most significant media event for the business aviation industry, bringing together business leaders, government officials, manufacturers, business aviation department personnel and others involved in nearly all aspects of business aviation. The NBAA2010 Press Conference Room Reservation Form is available online, enabling companies to schedule press conferences on Monday, October 18 (Press Day), Tuesday, October 19 and Wednesday, October 20 at the Georgia World Congress Center in conjunction with the Convention. Chairman's Charity Classic Golf Tournament Details Now Available
The NBAA 14th Annual Chairman's Charity Classic Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday, October 17, at Stone Mountain Golf Club in Stone Mountain, GA, in conjunction with NBAA2010. Proceeds will benefit NBAA Charities, which raises funds to support philanthropic organizations and initiatives that use general aviation airplanes for humanitarian purposes. Since the tournament was founded in 1997, it has raised over $400,000 for various charities. Several sponsorships are now available. All sponsor packages include recognition on the sponsor banner at the course, and most packages also include player positions in the tournament. For more information and to register, visit:

New Cross-Border Issues Conference to Launch in November
Following the success of a recent webinar, NBAA is joining with the Canadian Business Aviation Association (CBAA) to launch a new event called the CBAA/NBAA Cross-Border Issues Conference. Debuting on November 17 and 18 in Montreal Canada, the conference will focus on cross-border operations between the U.S. and Canada, which have become more challenging in recent years in light of new security and other requirements that demand detailed planning for proper compliance.
