Sessions at NBAA2008 Offer Something for Everyone
As the 61st Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA2008) approaches, Attendees can look forward to another event filled with critical, information-packed sessions where business aviation professionals, industry leaders and aviation policymakers will meet to share the latest news and developments affecting the industry.
With over 100 Information and Maintenance & Operations Sessions and extensive Professional Development Program (PDP) Course offerings at this year’s Annual Meeting & Convention, anyone with any interest is likely to find a session worth attending at NBAA2008. Industry experts will be on-hand for sessions on operational topics like maintenance, air traffic control, airports, safety, security, international business aviation policy and tax, finance and insurance issues.
In addition, NBAA for the first time has created a helpful guide to ensure that Attendees don’t miss valuable sessions during the busy three-day event. The guide features a color-coded chart to help Attendees locate the sessions geared to a particular feld of interest and search sessions by topic, job title and date. The online tool NBAA Connect, a personalized Attendee portal, also enables registrants to develop a customized schedule prior to arrival in Orlando.
For those unable to attend this year’s show, the NBAA Online Convention News Bureau at www.nbaa.org/2008 will feature coverage and highlights during the event, with articles and multimedia, including photos, webcams, podcasts and presentations from the world’s largest purely civil aviation trade show.
“There’s no substitute for attending the NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention in person, but we hope the Online Convention News Bureau will give web site visitors a glimpse of the wealth of information available,” said Jason Wolf, NBAA’s director, Internet communications. “Even for those who do attend the Convention in Orlando, there’s just too much going on to see everything. The Online Convention News Bureau will give Attendees access to even more information when they get back home.”
NBAA2008 will be held from Monday, October 6 through Wednesday, October 8 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL, with a Static Display of Aircraft at Orlando Executive Airport (ORL).
