Washington, DC, November 22, 2004 – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) has finalized the dates and locations of its 2005 Business Aviation Regional Forums. They are:
  • April 27, 2005, at Republic Airport (FRG) in Farmingdale, NY
  • July 7, 2005, at Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC) in San Jose, CA
  • September 15, 2005, at Centennial Airport (APA) in Denver, CO
The NBAA Business Aviation Regional Forum is a day-long learning and networking experience designed to meet the needs of the regional business aviation community and to provide an introduction to local business leaders interested in learning more about business aviation.

The Regional Forums provide a marketplace for business aviation products and services similar to the NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention, but on a smaller, more intimate scale, and at a regional level. These events typically feature 60 Exhibitors, 40 aircraft on Static Display, hundreds of Attendees and a variety of briefings on topics of interest to the business aviation community.

Attendance was high at NBAA's most recent Regional Forum on November 18 in Dallas. Held in Business Jet Center's new hangar on Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL), the event drew approximately 1,100 Attendees and a record 79 Exhibitors. It also featured 28 static aircraft and a series of informative briefings on topics of interest to the local community, including business aviation security, DRVSM and the very light jet market. Keynote speakers were Ava Wilkerson, FAA regional administrator, and Kenneth Gwyn, Dallas director of aviation. For more information, visit web.nbaa.org/public/cs/forums/20041118.

Other past Regional Forums have been held in Seattle, Chicago, West Palm Beach and Scottsdale. For more information, contact NBAA's Suzanne Cole at [email protected] or visit www.nbaa.org/forums.

Founded in 1947, NBAA serves its 8,000 Member Companies by promoting the aviation interests of businesses utilizing general aviation aircraft in the United States and worldwide. The association provides more than 100 products and services to the business aviation community, including the NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention, the world's largest civil aviation trade show.
