WASHINGTON, DC, May 25, 2006 – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) today announced that NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen will serve as keynote speaker at NBAA's Washington, DC, Regional Forum to be held on June 8, 2006, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EDT at the Landmark Aviation site at Washington Dulles International Airport.
Members of the media are invited to attend this event, which will feature informational sessions, exhibits and over 20 aircraft on static display.
Bolen's address will take place at 9:00 a.m. EDT on June 9 as part of the Forum's Opening General Session, entitled, "Business Aviation Today." Among other elements, Bolen's remarks will touch upon a range of proposals being debated in the federal policy arena.
At the Forum, Attendees will have an opportunity to communicate with their members of Congress about the priorities for the business aviation community through NBAA's "Contact Congress" resource, a quick-and-easy, online way for those in the industry to express their views to their federal representatives. An Internet-linked computer will be located in the Forum exhibit and event registration area, and NBAA staff will be available to demonstrate the use of the advocacy resource.
Forum Attendees also will have access to a Static Display of aircraft, dozens of exhibits showcasing the latest industry products and services, and a number of informational seminars and briefings. Air traffic management personnel from the Federal Aviation Administration will be available throughout the day for questions and comments about air traffic management procedures and policies in the mid-Atlantic region.
