WASHINGTON, DC, January 8, 2007 — The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) today announced the release of the revised NBAA Management Guide. Long recognized by the industry as an essential reference for business aviation management, the new edition updates information from previous editions, and includes new packaging and references to other helpful resources.
The redesigned 2006 edition includes sections on administration, flight operations, international operations and maintenance, as well as appendices on supplemental topics.
"The value of NBAA's Management Guide is that it draws on the experience and expertise of veterans from all corners of the business aviation community," said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. "The updated version will put the very latest information at Members' fingertips for use on a day-to-day basis."
The guide, one of a number of resources offered by NBAA, is produced and regularly updated by NBAA's Standing Committees, which encompass personnel from virtually every area of business aviation.
Information within the guide is also helpful for use in educating non-aviation personnel on accepted industry best practices. The guide can also be used to help companies establish and operate a flight department for the first time.
The first copy of the NBAA Management Guide is provided free of charge to NBAA Members, with additional copies costing $50 each. Non-Members may purchase copies for $90 each. Orders may be placed through the NBAA office at (202) 783-9286 or [email protected]. Members also may download the publication in PDF format online at http://www.nbaa.org/mgmtguide.
