NBAA Urges Members to Submit Comments on CBP Rule Before Deadline
Comments on the proposed rule issued by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) affecting international private aircraft operations are due on December 4. To date, the proposal has received over 2,200 comments. NBAA has produced a guide to help Members analyze the impact of this proposal on their operations. The Association's greatest concerns, among others, lie with the lack of flexibility provided for submitting manifests and the restrictive one-hour time frame for manifest submissions. For more information, contact NBAA's Operations Service Group at info@nbaa.org, or review the guide at:

Where Can I Find Graphical Depictions of TFRs?
Graphical plots of temporary flight restrictions (TFRs) are currently available on the Federal Aviation Administration's web site. This site contains a current list of TFRs and allows users to view TFRs plotted on aeronautical charts. NBAA also offers a Members-only Airspace Alerts e-mail list that provides information about upcoming TFRs and other airspace issues considered to have a significant impact on NBAA Member flight operations.
