Governance is an important part of any successful certification program. It ensures that there are policies, procedures and processes for how the program is managed.

The Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) Governing Board was established as an autonomous certification board within the NBAA, with independent authority with respect to all decisions related to the certification process, including eligibility, passing scores, certification determinations, re-certification, discipline and appeals.

The CAM Governing Board Bylaws and CAM Governing Board Policies Procedures outline how the CAM program is managed. Provisions of CAM Governing Board bylaws, policies and procedures may be amended to be consistent with the current status and development of the CAM Governing Board.
