These 5 NBAA-BACE Presenters Can Help You Level-Up Your Professionalism

Washington, DC, Aug. 8, 2024 – The 2024 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) week will include a lineup of compelling speakers whose perspectives – offered in a series of Professional Development Program (PDP) courses – will give you new insights on purpose-driven planning for career and life.

“More than ever, business aviation professionals are expected to understand the fundamentals of leadership,” said Molly Hitch, NBAA senior manager, professional development. “These NBAA-BACE PDP sessions, which take place immediately before and after the convention, are offered by veteran career strategists who will empower participants for success in all of their pursuits.”

The following are among the experts featured in the 2024 NBAA-BACE PDP lineup:

Kristopher Cannon, founder and president of Aviation Secure, Inc., is an experienced aviation security consultant, accomplished speaker, presenter and business aviation pilot. He has been a member of the NBAA Security Council since 2011. Cannon will lead a session entitled, “Aviation Security and Awareness Training.”

Walter Kraujalis is president of AeronomX, a consulting firm specializing in aviation investments and business and management development. An attorney and former flight department manager, he also served as director of safety for USAIG. Kraujalis is leading a session entitled, “Management Fundamentals for Flight Departments Workshop.”

“This workshop will unpack all of the major considerations for workplace leaders – cultivating personnel, effective cross-team communications, the tools used by the pros to be the best in their fields.”

Bob Mason, a veteran, author and professional speaker, is a recognized authority in leadership development who works with companies that want to solve problems and develop top performers. He is leading a session entitled, “Leadership for Aviation Professionals.”

Scott Moore, CAM, is a certified leadership advisor and personal life coach at Moore Life Leadership who gives presentations around the country about values-based leadership. His invitation-only course is entitled, “Aviation Leadership.”

“In this course, you will learn how to lead and inspire your coworkers by creating a personal leadership vision,” Moore said.

Daniel Prather, Ph.D., D.B.A., A.A.E., CAM, is the airport manager of Riverside Municipal Airport (RAL). He is an accredited airport executive (A.A.E.) and internationally known speaker, trainer, researcher, author and educator. He is conducting the PDP course entitled, “SMS for Business Aviation.”
