Washington, DC, Sept. 16, 2025 – The business aviation community has long demonstrated a deep commitment to give back – whether though through humanitarian lift, fundraising or advocating for meaningful causes, and at the 2025 National Business Aviation Association Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE), that philanthropic spirit will be on full display.

“Business aviation has a proud legacy of supporting people and communities in need,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. “We are honored to carry on this tradition at NBAA-BACE and applaud all those who plan to take part in these efforts.”

The Pink Jet

A popular fixture at last year’s convention, Pink Jet President and pilot Stephanie Goetz is back with the L-39 Albatros military trainer jet to highlight October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month and inspire young women in aviation.

“We at The Pink Jet are honored to once again be a part of the largest business aviation conference in the world. Our shared values of promoting community, caring for each other and delivering excellence makes this perfect partnership,” said Goetz.

“It’s particularly special to be at NBAA-BACE during Breast Cancer Awareness Month where we aim to spread awareness on this deadly disease, promote early detection, support survivors and those who lost loved ones to the disease,” she added.

Goetz also is a strong advocate of promoting aviation careers to young women and hopes to meet with students attending the show to learn more about business aviation.

Fund an Angel at NBAA-BACE

To support its critical mission of arranging free business aircraft flights for cancer patients seeking treatment, Corporate Angel Network (CAN) is again hosting its annual “Fund an Angel” fundraiser at NBAA-BACE.

The event is set for 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas on the Waterbleau Terrace. NBAA-BACE attendees are invited to join industry colleagues for an evening of networking, refreshments and a silent auction, all while raising funds and awareness.

“Fund an Angel plays a vital role in allowing us to do what we do best — connect cancer patients with the treatment they need, when they need it most,” said Robert Stangarone, president and CEO of Corporate Angel Network. “NBAA’s continued support, and the generosity of the business aviation community, make each mission possible. This event is a powerful reminder of how our industry can come together to save lives.”

NBAA Young Professionals: Giving Back

All NBAA-BACE attendees are invited to join the NBAA Young Professionals (YoPro) Council in celebrating its annual YoPro Networking Reception and Helpy Hour, taking place from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at the Las Vegas Convention Center Paradise Bridge.

As part of the event, they will be hosting another “Helpy Hour,” which is a hands-on community service project that gives attendees a chance to help give back. YoPros are partnering with Project 150, a Las Vegas organization that provides free support and services to homeless, displaced and disadvantaged high school students. Attendees can help assemble school supply kits for these students in need.

This year’s Helpy Hour is sponsored by Signature Aviation.

“Our Helpy Hours remain one of the most impactful initiatives led by the YoPro Council,” said Ashley Granada, NBAA senior marketing manager and co-staff liaison to the council. “By sharing our time, energy and compassion, we’re not just supporting our communities, but helping shape a culture in business aviation that values service as much as success.”

Taking place Oct. 14-16, NBAA-BACE is the world’s most powerful business aviation event of the year, showcasing the industry’s latest innovations and services, and hosting the leaders who are shaping its future. Learn more about NBAA-BACE.
