NBAA has presented Fargo Jet Center’s Darren Hall with its prestigious Silk Scarf Award in honor of his many years of work supporting and promoting business aviation.

Hall, a native of North Dakota, serves as vice president of business development for Fargo Jet Center, Premier Jet Center, and Exclusive Aircraft Sales. He began his career with Pietsch Flying Service in the late 1980s, later starting and managing Fargo Jet Center’s line service department. He rose through the ranks at the company into his current executive role.

Hall served on the NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Committee from 2005-2012 and was chairman of the committee in 2011. He has also served in a leadership role for the Fargo Airsho planning committee and volunteers at the Fargo Air Museum.

He is immediate past chair of the North Dakota Aviation Association, which in 2022 received the Outstanding Excellence by a Local or Regional Group award from NBAA at the association’s convention in Orlando, FL.

“I have worked with Darren in multiple roles over the past couple of decades, and it has truly been an honor to observe all that he has done and continues to do in a pay-it-forward capacity for this industry,” said NBAA Northern Mountain Regional Director Kristi Ivey, CAM.

“From his years of service on NBAA standing committees and with other national stakeholder groups, to his innovative leadership and community outreach within the state of North Dakota, Darren has made a significant impact on and for business aviation,” she added.

Jo Damato, CAM, NBAA senior vice president, education, training, and workforce development added, “Darren Hall has consistently upheld the very model of an exemplary volunteer and business aviation professional.

In all ways, Darren has personified NBAA’s core values in demonstrating leadership through his sincere care for anyone fortunate enough to be on a team with him.”
