Kristie Greco Johnson serves as senior vice president of government affairs, where she is responsible for NBAA’s advocacy efforts with federal, state and local government leaders regarding the promotion of business aviation, including its focus on safety, security, sustainability and transformative technologies, as well as its importance to the nation’s economy and transportation system.
Johnson comes to NBAA with more than 25 years of experience at the highest levels of government and politics, serving most recently as chief of staff for U.S. Rep. Peter DeFazio (D-4-OR), a career-long aviation advocate and chair of the U.S. House Committee on Transportation & Infrastructure.
She previously served as senior advisor for House Majority Whip Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-6-SC). She has also served as head of communications at the FAA, and as senior advisor on presidential and congressional campaigns.
Johnson holds a Bachelor of Arts in English, concentration in business from Villanova University.
