The No Plane No Gain advocacy campaign offers a variety of no-cost resources that emphasize the value of business aviation to those outside the industry, and one aviation-service provider is using the popular Top Ten publication as a tool to promote the industry’s numerous benefits to prospective clients in its community.
TAC Air recently ordered 250 copies of the Top Ten booklet for its aircraft sales, management, maintenance and charter subsidiary – Keystone Aviation – to distribute to business travelers around the Salt Lake City, UT area who may not be aware of the advantages of using a business aircraft.
“We see the use of Top Ten as a great opportunity to present the benefits of air charter and our industry as a whole,” said TAC Air Marketing Director David Edwards. “The booklet enables regional companies to see our industry as a tool for managing their remote operations and expanding the scope of their influence.”
Top Ten features testimonials from 10 highly respected CEOs – including FedEx Chairman and CEO Frederick W. Smith, Enterprise Holdings Executive Chairman Andrew C. Taylor and Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett – about the value of business aviation to their companies.
“Regardless of a company’s size, any executive knows that time and money are one and the same,” added Edwards. “Business aviation enables personnel to turn travel time into office time. A business aircraft not only provides a discrete environment in which to work; it also enables companies to send more personnel to support a client presentation, or to inspect a work site, than is typically feasible when [using the airlines].”
Edwards encouraged other charter companies to utilize No Plane No Gain’s free advocacy resources.
“Sure, we compete with each other, but, above all, we also want to raise the tide of business for everyone,” he said. “It’s good for all of us that these materials are available, so we may all keep general aviation in a top-of-mind position with those who may benefit most from it.”
