The SITEE ONE RNAV STAR is expected to be published on Thursday, Jan. 5, and will be used for traffic arriving at McCarran International Airport (LAS) from the Northeast. It will replace the GRNPA ONE RNAV STAR. Operators should file the SITEE ONE RNAV STAR starting Jan. 5 if operating an aircraft capable of the standard RNAV procedure.

Operators should also note that the publication of this new procedure will coincide with the beginning of the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. With an expected increase in traffic to LAS for this event, the implementation of a new procedure has the potential to cause arrival delays of greater than 15 minutes to the airport, as pilots and controllers adjust to the changes.

NBAA encourages operators to be familiar with the new procedure ahead of time and to be prepared for potential delays.
