New SIDs, STARs Coming to San Francisco Bay-Area Airports

On Dec. 10, several revised and new arrival and departure procedures associated with the Northern California Metroplex Implementation project will be published. These procedures will be the last major changes associated with the project.

Procedural Changes effective Dec. 10

San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

• SERFR2 STAR: Removes Runway 19 transition
• WWAVS1 STAR: New RNAV STAR for Runway 19
• STLER2 STAR: Miscellaneous restriction changes only

San Jose – Norman Mineta International Airport (SJC)

• BMRNG3 SID: Miscellaneous restriction changes only

Oakland International Airport (OAK)

• EMZOH3 STAR: Removes Runway 12 transition
• SKIZM1 STAR: New RNAV STAR for Runway 12

Sacramento International Airport (SMF)

• SLMMR3 STAR: Redefines the three entry positions
• SUUTR2 STAR: Miscellaneous restriction changes only
