The Business Aviation Management Committee (BAMC) provides guidance to aviation department managers in the NBAA membership. The committee’s advisory materials and management programs provide information on management trends; techniques and skills in the development of departmental objectives; policies, standards and planning; organization and administration; personnel selection and retention, training and education; fiscal control and evaluation; and operational evaluation. Explaining Why Your Company Relies on Business Aviation: Questions and Answers
Business aviation is often misunderstood by the media, shareholders, elected officials and others. This document, assembled by NBAA’s Business Aviation Management Committee, helps confront misperceptions by providing the most common questions about a company’s use of business aviation, and offering some helpful answers.

Leadership Conference
NBAA and the BAMC encourage anyone who currently is in a leadership or managerial role, or anyone who aspires to be a successful leader and manager, to attend the annual NBAA Leadership Conference. All flight department personnel, including flight department managers, chief pilots, directors of operations and maintenance managers, and those interested in these leadership positions, will benefit from this event.

Management Guide
Long viewed by the industry as an essential operational reference, the NBAA Management Guide is designed to assist existing flight departments with their operational and administrative requirements and to provide overall guidance for operating a flight department. NBAA’s Business Aviation Management Committee participates in the ongoing development of this publication.

BAMC LinkedIn Group
Launched during the 2015 NBAA Leadership Conference, BAMC’s LinkedIn group will continue discussions that started at the Leadership Conference and address many other issues affecting business aviation.

NBAA Endeavor Group
This BAMC working group has the mission is to advocate, educate and collaborate in building and nurturing an inclusive aviation community among NBAA members and the industry.
