The Most Important Tool
Speaker: Jay Dankoff, Convergent Performance

As maintenance professionals, we all understand that the measurement gathered from a precision measuring tool, such as a caliper, is only as accurate and sharp as the mind and hand behind the tool. For years our industry has relied heavily on technical training and experience as the backbone of AMT development, and has not prioritized sharpening the most important tool of all the technician brain. What if someone told you that there were three things you could start doing today that would allow you to sharpen your mind, improve your craftsmanship, better engage your team, and help move our industry forward in a very meaningful way? This session will delve into these very tools, tools that could mean the difference between complacency and engagement, an injury and safety, a career we’re proud of or one we’d like to forget, achieving airworthiness and releasing an un-airworthy aircraft.
