First-Ever Small Operator Symposium to Debut at NBAA-BACE

The inaugural Small Operator Symposium will debut on Oct. 15, prior to the opening of NBAA-BACE, to specifically address issues facing operators with two airplanes or less. “We welcome any operator who considers themselves to be a small operator to attend this new symposium,” said NBAA Manager of Operations Brian Koester. “About 80 percent of our operating members are small flight departments, so we are excited to provide this critical information to such a wide segment of the NBAA operating membership.” Learn more about the symposium.

NBAA’s YoPro Program to Celebrate Five Years at NBAA-BACE

NBAA’s Young Professionals in Business Aviation (YoPro) program has grown from a single networking reception held at the 2014 convention into a multi-faceted industry workforce development initiative. As a demonstration of how far the program has come, NBAA’s YoPro Council will present a full schedule of events at this year’s convention. “YoPro is important to NBAAs goal to attract and retain professionals to serve in the industry,” said Sierra Grimes, NBAA manager of registration and founder of the NBAA YoPro program. CBP Again Conducting Global Entry Interviews at NBAA-BACE
 

CBP Again Conducting Global Entry Interviews at NBAA-BACE

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will be conducting Global Entry interviews at NBAA-BACE. The program allows pre-approved, low-risk travelers to enter the country through automatic kiosks at 47 U.S. airports and 13 pre-clearance airports including locations in Canada and Ireland. TSA PreCheck benefits are also included for Global Entry participants. Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation registration also will be available for new and existing Trusted Traveler participants.
