Aviation legend and air show performer Sean D. Tucker has been named the 2018 recipient of the Al Ueltschi Award for Humanitarian Leadership. The award will be presented during the Day 1 Keynote at NBAA-BACE. The award recognizes Tucker and the Bob Hoover Academy, which he co-founded in 2016, to inspire underprivileged youth through exposure to aviation. “Through his many aviation and humanitarian efforts, Sean has long established himself as a proven leader whose positive attitude encourages others to pursue their passions,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. NBAA will hold its popular Careers in Business Aviation Day on Thursday, Oct. 18 during the third day of NBAA-BACE, with Anthony Oshinuga, a world-class aerobatic and air race pilot, serving as the keynote speaker. “Inspiring the business aviation industry’s next generation of professionals and leaders is a key NBAA priority,” said Peter Korns, NBAA’s manager, tax, operations and workforce engagement.
