Students to Hear From FAA Administrator, Aviation Futurist at NBAA-BACE Career DayThe 2019 NBAA-BACE Careers in Business Aviation Day will feature a discussion led by new FAA Administrator Steve Dickson, who will offer his perspectives on the many tech-focused and other exciting careers available in aviation, and continue with keynote speaker Jim Payne, chief pilot of the Perlan Project, who will discuss his organization’s glider missions into the far upper atmosphere to gather data that will support future space exploration. NBAA-BACE Examines the Most Pressing Workforce Issues Affecting Business AviationWorkforce sessions at NBAA-BACE will examine how management culture, diversity and inclusion, female leaders and military veterans can help alleviate staffing shortages across the business aviation industry. “Our expert panelists will equip you with the tools to attract and retain the staff to help your department excel now, as well as the tools to help you stay relevant and be successful in the future,” said Jo Damato, CAM, NBAA vice president, educational strategy and workforce development. Any person who attends an NBAA convention, conference, seminar or other program grants permission to NBAA, its employees and agents (collectively "NBAA") to record his or her visual/audio images, including, but not limited to, photographs, digital images, voices, sound or video recordings, audio clips, or accompanying written descriptions, and, without notifying such person, to use his or her name and such images for any purpose of NBAA, including advertisements for NBAA and its programs.
