FAA's Steve Dickson To Share Perspectives on Workforce, Safety at NBAA-BACE

FAA Administrator Dickson to Inspire, Inform at This Year’s Show

FAA Administrator Steve Dickson will give two presentations on Oct. 24 at NBAA-BACE. He will begin the day at the show’s Careers in Business Aviation Day, where he will talk with students about promising careers in aviation, and will later address the NBAA-BACE National Safety Forum. “We are honored Steve Dickson will be with us to inspire young people about the aviation careers,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. “We are equally pleased that he will be a part of the day we set aside at our convention each year to redouble our focus on safety.” Read more about Dickson.

New Exhibitors, New Energy at NBAA-BACE

Of the more than 1,000 exhibitors taking part in NBAA-BACE, around 100 of those will be first-time exhibitors, many of whom will take part in the First-Time Exhibitor Pavilion. “This is our first major trade show,” said first-time exhibitor Steve Durgarian, founder of Arizona Epoxy Systems. “Each year we keep telling ourselves that we need to go and capture all that potential business, and this year that is what we are going to do.” Read more about the new exhibitors at NBAA-BACE.

NBAA’s YoPro Program Continues to Grow at NBAA-BACE

NBAA’s Young Professionals (YoPro) in Business Aviation program continues to expand each year, offering new opportunities for growth in the industry. The initiative continues at NBAA-BACE, where, in addition to the YoPro education and networking sessions, NBAA will honor the recipients of the 2019 Top 40 Under 40 in Business Aviation. “At this year’s convention, events are planned to highlight young professionals’ success in the industry and continue our mission of education and giving back to local communities,” said Sierra Grimes, NBAA’s senior manager of registration and YoPro program founder.
