NBAA’s Local and Regional Group Committee and the North Texas Business Aviation Association will host the 2019 Local and Regional Group Leadership Roundtable on June 13-14 in Dallas, TX. The committee is celebrating our fourth full year of continuing to strengthen regional group interaction.
The Roundtable event offers regional group leaders the opportunity to share best practices with their peers and provide valuable tools, resources and takeaways that attendees can bring back to their respective groups.
This year’s evening event, prior to the Roundtable, will be held in the Dallas Cowboy’s AT&T Stadium. The networking evening event will include a stadium VIP tour, drink ticket and a select menu served suite-style in the Cowboy Suites.
The Official Roundtable event will be held the next day at the Hilton Arlington, Arlington, TX on June 14th, with a workforce theme. Content will center around leadership discussions on many timely topics including: How local and regional groups can engage with workforce development with student awareness of business aviation in the schools, ways to promote internships and mentorships through industry assets, membership development strategies, updating technical tools for group operations, and local engagement with airports.
The Roundtable will also focus on how to build relationships with local schools and include a panel with NBAA and AOPA workforce staff about initiatives in developing business aviation content into local high school curriculums, supported by the young professionals in those regions.
Throughout the Roundtable, regional group stakeholders will be offering discussions on tax structures, legislative strategies, industry internships, scholarships and other topics to be identified by regional group leaders.
