Jodie Brown is a nationally and internationally recognized business aviation executive recruiter, leadership coach, team facilitator, presenter and author.

Her mission is building a great place to work by helping aviation businesses and departments define and recruit the right leadership, develop leadership potential and skills, use change to create culture, and to build high performance teams.

Brown has served on committees for NBAA and NATA and facilitated programs for PAMA, CABA, and AEA. Her courses have been approved for professional certification by NBAA and she has given presentations at EBACE, ABACE and all the NBAA national conferences.

Brown is sought out by aviation leaders because of the spectrum and depth of her knowledge. For over 25 years, she has been a strategic partner with aircraft manufacturers (engineering to assembly), MROs, FBOs and Part 91, 135, and 145 businesses and major vendors. Her vast experience provides owners, investors, and leaders additional insight throughout all areas of the industry.

Her passion is business culture and finding the synergy among individual contribution, leadership performance and team interaction.

Brown’s undergraduate focused on Management Information Systems; her masters’ degree and doctoral research centered on culture and community. Before founding her aviation business, Summit Solutions, Jodie served as associate dean at the University of Denver, Texas Tech University and University of Colorado-Boulder.

Brown writes articles for aviation publications and is frequently interviewed for television, magazines and podcasts. She is a highly requested keynote speaker and facilitates strategic planning sessions. Her hobbies include photography, scuba diving, pastel painting, skiing, playing the guitar and world travel.
