March 3, 2020

Thank you for your support for the NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference (SDC2020)! Given that the news headlines are dominated by coverage of the Coronavirus, or COVID-19, we at NBAA want to ensure we are providing you with the latest information and are communicating with you in a spirit of transparency, collaboration and partnership.

As we continually monitor this fluid and unfolding situation, SDC2020 currently is proceeding as planned.

The health and safety of our members, event participants and partners are our top priority. NBAA continues to closely monitor developments related to COVID-19 and has been in frequent contact with medical experts. At this year’s conference, we will add further safety and sanitation measures, reflecting from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) specific to COVID-19 preparation. Additionally, we strongly encourage any attendee or exhibitor who has symptoms of COVID-19, which include fever, cough, and shortness of breath, to stay home and not attend SDC2020.

NBAA will be recording select education sessions at SDC2020 so those who are unable to attend in person will be able to access the strong educational content that will be delivered on-site in Charlotte. These recordings will be available in NBAA’s Learning Management System before the end of March 2020.

Current information about the impact of COVID-19 on NBAA events is maintained on our website. NBAA also has resources related to COVID-19 on our website for business aircraft owners and operators. I encourage you to review them.

I am excited for another high-quality educational conference with a dynamic trade show floor at SDC2020. It’s not too soon to review the program schedule to plan which sessions will help advance your career and schedule your exhibitor visits.

I look forward to seeing you in Charlotte, NC next week!
