COVID-19 Update: March 13 SDC2020 Activities Cancelled

Recognizing the fluidity of circumstances related to the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), and the impact of the situation on peoples’ travel planning and other decision-making, NBAA is sending this message to provide further guidance for participants in the association’s 2020 Schedulers and Dispatchers Conference (SDC).
The health, safety and well-being of all SDC participants is paramount. With this in mind, and informed in part by guidance from several authorities, including the World Health Organization, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and other public health and aviation-safety authorities NBAA has decided to conclude SDC2020 activities at close of business today. Therefore, all educational programming scheduled for tomorrow (Fri., Mar. 13) will be canceled. NBAA is exploring options for providing some amount of the educational content through a virtual platform.
Review the NBAA press release concerning our decision on SDC and two additional, upcoming events. NBAA will be contacting event participants to convey this information, and answer any questions.
We recognize the important role of many volunteers and committee members in making SDC a success, this year and every year, and we thank them for their continued service in support of this event.

Any person who attends an NBAA convention, conference, seminar or other program grants permission to NBAA, its employees and agents (collectively "NBAA") to record his or her visual/audio images, including, but not limited to, photographs, digital images, voices, sound or video recordings, audio clips, or accompanying written descriptions, and, without notifying such person, to use his or her name and such images for any purpose of NBAA, including advertisements for NBAA and its programs.
