Oct. 12, 2021

At a press event at Henderson Executive airport, Clark County declared Monday, Oct. 11 2021, to be “National Business Aviation Association Day” in recognition of the economic impact of NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) for the area, as well as the association’s commitment to sustainability. NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen noted that this year’s convention will use a carbon-offset program to make one of the largest carbon-neutral trade shows in the country. “All of the aircraft that are here,” Bolen said Monday, “have flown in on sustainable aircraft fuel, and will be flying out on sustainable aircraft fuel.” In addition, nearly 100 NBAA-BACE exhibitors have signed a brand-new “Green Pledge,” which offers a host of ways to mitigate their environmental footprint for the convention.
