Important COVID-19 Information

COVID-19, a highly infectious disease caused by the novel coronavirus, is currently classified as a pandemic by public health authorities. It is associated with severe symptoms including acute respiratory issues, severe damage to lungs and other organs and death. According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), COVID-19 is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person, and individuals over age 65 and people of any age who have certain underlying medical conditions are at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19. COVID-19 is not fully understood at this time, and understanding of the symptoms, risks and spread of the disease may change over time. Although NBAA will take all reasonable safety precautions to protect the health of participants (as further described below), because thousands of attendees are expected, NBAA cannot guarantee that participants will not be exposed to COVID-19 during attendance at the event.

COVID-19 Guidelines for Participants

The safety and well-being of event participants is NBAA’s highest priority. NBAA and the NBAA-BACE venues (Las Vegas Convention Center and Henderson Executive Airport), in collaboration with medical and governmental authorities, will adopt protocols for attendees, exhibitors, vendors and other partners to protect the health of all participants. These protocols include a requirement that all attendees and exhibit personnel present proof of vaccination against COVID-19. More information will be sent to all registered attendees and is available on the Getting Together, Safely page. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST COMPLY WITH THESE GUIDELINES AS IMPLEMENTED BY NBAA AND THE VENUES.

COVID-19 Liability Waiver/Assumption of Risk

All participants at NBAA-BACE acknowledge that their participation is completely voluntary and that they understand the dangers of COVID-19 and the risks of exposure described above. All participants further acknowledge that they assume all risks associated with COVID-19 in connection with attendance at NBAA-BACE, including risks to their own health and the health of others with whom they may come in contact during or after NBAA-BACE (“Assumed Risks”). Additionally, all participants at NBAA-BACE agree, on behalf of themselves, their heirs and assigns, and anyone who might assert a claim on their behalf, to release, indemnify and hold harmless NBAA, the NBAA-BACE venues, NBAA partners and their respective owners, directors, officers, employees, representatives, heirs and assigns from any and all liability, claims or causes of action that may be released under applicable law arising from or relating to the Assumed Risks. This release includes any claims for personal injury, disease, death, property loss or any other loss, including but not limited to claims of negligence and any right to seek damages.

International Travelers and National Interest Exception (NIE) Guidelines

Travelers outside of the U.S. who may be prohibited from traveling to the U.S. by presidential COVID-19 proclamations may apply for an exemption to attend NBAA-BACE. Learn more about NIE guidelines.
