SDC2021 Cancellation Resource for Exhibitors
Updated Nov. 20, 2020
The SDC2021 team has compiled this resource for exhibitors to answer questions about the administrative considerations related to the show’s cancellation. NBAA recognizes that flexibility and choices are important, particularly during these challenging times. Exhibitors who have already paid NBAA for their SDC2021 exhibit space will have three options:
- Pay it forward to SDC2022
Exhibitors may choose to pay it forward by applying their SDC2021 payments to a booth at SDC2022. In this “pay it forward” program, paid exhibitors will lock in their pricing for SDC2022 at the 2021 rates.
- Credit payment to a virtual exhibit at the 2021 Flight Operations Conference
Exhibitors will have the option to apply their SDC2021 payments to a virtual booth at NBAA’s new virtual Flight Operations Conference 2021.
- Request a Refund
Exhibitors may choose to receive a refund for their SDC2021 exhibit fees. NBAA will process all refunds by Mar. 23, 2021.
What fees will be refunded for SDC2021?
NBAA will refund all fees paid for SDC2021 exhibit space.
Can we apply our refund to SDC2022?
If you would like us to credit your 2021 fees to SDC2022, select “Pay it forward to SDC2022” on the SDC2021 Exhibitor Cancellation Form. To further recognize your commitment to NBAA’s mission to support the business aviation community, if you decide to apply your 2021 fee refund to SDC2022, you will lock in your 2022 exhibit fees at the 2021 rates. This option will be available though Jan, 15, 2021.
Can we apply our refund to a virtual booth at the 2021 Flight Operations Conference?
If you would like us to credit your SDC2021 exhibit fees to a booth at the 2021 virtual Flight Operations Conference, select “Credit my payment to a virtual exhibit at the 2021 Flight Operations Conference” on the SDC2021 Exhibitor Cancellation Form.
Companies will soon be able to register to exhibit at the 2021 Flight Operations Conference. If the virtual booth selected is more expensive than the amount paid for SDC2021, the exhibitor will be provided an invoice to pay the difference. If the virtual booth is less expensive than the amount paid to NBAA for SDC2021, NBAA will refund the difference in the same manner that the original payment was made. This option will be available through Jan, 15, 2021.
How will my refunded exhibit fees be returned?
Exhibit fees will be refunded as follows:
- Exhibitors who paid by credit card will receive their refunds to the same credit card that was used to make payment. If the credit card used is no longer valid, NBAA will issue a refund by check.
- Exhibitors based in the U.S. or Canada who paid by check or wire transfers will receive their refunds by check.
- Other exhibitors who paid by wire transfer will receive their refund by wire transfer. These exhibitors will be asked to provide their wire information on the SDC2021 Exhibitor Cancellation Form.
- Exhibitors who do not submit their SDC2021 Exhibitor Cancellation Form by Jan. 15, 2021, will have exhibit fees refunded.
How long will it take to receive our refund?
All refunds will be processed by Mar. 23, 2021.
