With less than six weeks to go until the 2022 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) comes to Orlando, FL, organizers report the event’s two aircraft display areas will host an exciting mix of the latest business aircraft and near-future aerial concepts.

Featuring a comprehensive lineup of business aircraft of all sizes and for all missions – from single-engine piston aircraft to large intercontinental business jets, and rotorcraft – the outdoor aircraft display at Orlando Executive Airport (ORL) will feature the most advanced and dynamic aircraft lineup ever seen at NBAA-BACE.

“We’re extremely pleased to welcome back all major OEMs to NBAA-BACE to display the latest and very best business aircraft, including at least a few new introductions to the show,” said Joe Hart, NBAA director of aircraft displays. Hart added the aircraft display is “essentially sold out” with only a few limited spaces still available.

In a first for NBAA-BACE, the outdoor display also will host the NEXTGEN Aviators program, a STEM-focused initiative that introduces students to the many exciting careers and possibilities in aviation at a pivotal stage of their lives.

“It’s so important that we inspire the next generation of aviation professionals,” Hart said. “I can’t think of a better venue to host this exciting initiative than NBAA-BACE, surrounded by both the most advanced aircraft available today.”

Inside the exhibit hall at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC), the indoor aircraft display will showcase several advanced helicopters utilized by business aviation operators in a variety of roles, including employee transportation and air tour operations.

Adjacent to the main keynote stage at the OCCC will be the Emerging Technology Zone featuring an expanded lineup of advanced air mobility aircraft and emerging technologies like hydrogen and electric propulsion, many of which are presently in flight testing. These platforms hold the promise to revolutionize short distance, zero-emissions transportation in the near future.

“NBAA-BACE, like business aviation, always has an eye to the horizon,” Hart said. “We’re excited about showcasing these promising emerging technologies that point our industry’s way to a bright future.”

Taking place Oct. 18-20, NBAA-BACE will set a new standard in highlighting the inspiring people, bold ideas, new markets, and emerging technologies transforming business aviation. The show will bring together thought leaders in safety, security, sustainability, innovation and workforce development.
