NBAA Members Have Until May 27 to Submit NBAA-BACE Session Proposals
May 19, 2022
The deadline is fast approaching for NBAA members to submit proposals for education sessions to be offered at the 2022 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE), which runs Oct. 18-20, 2022, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.
Proposals are due May 27.
NBAA is looking for exciting, ground-breaking, forward-thinking presentations focused on progress and future growth, said Molly Hitch, NBAA senior manager, professional development.
“We’re always looking to find areas we can educate our members on, and our members are the primary experts in those different fields,” said Hitch. “We are always trying to solicit from them to find the new and ground-breaking content that our membership base should hear about.”
Education session proposals should feature these key elements:
- Peer-to-peer learning
- Highly interactive
- Live/interactive polling
- Adult learning best practices
Hitch said special consideration will be given to proposals covering the following topics:
- Workforce and leadership development
- Emerging technologies
- Sustainability
- Diversity, equity and inclusion
- Advanced Air Mobility
- Forward-thinking subjects
Hitch said about 35 education in-person sessions will be offered at NBAA-BACE, with each about 60 minutes in length. All sessions will be recorded, and numerous other topics will be offered online through NBAA’s learning management system, which will supplement the in-person sessions and enhance the opportunities to engage for those attendees watching at home.
Presentations must be educational in nature and may not market a company’s product or service. In order to ensure the highest quality presentations and content, proposals must include the names and qualifications of all speakers or panelists who would be presenting.
Any person who attends an NBAA convention, conference, seminar or other program grants permission to NBAA, its employees and agents (collectively "NBAA") to record his or her visual/audio images, including, but not limited to, photographs, digital images, voices, sound or video recordings, audio clips, or accompanying written descriptions, and, without notifying such person, to use his or her name and such images for any purpose of NBAA, including advertisements for NBAA and its programs.
