Exhibitors that have submitted applications and full payments by Feb. 17, 2023 will select their exhibit location in the Las Vegas Convention Center at assigned appointment times through the live priority placement process, scheduled to take place starting May 1, 2023.

Priority One appointments will take place May 1-4. Priority Two, Three and Four will take place from June 12 and July 3.

Each exhibitor will be assigned an appointment time for their exhibit space placement. At the assigned appointment time, each exhibitor will join a Google meeting and, while looking at the floor plan online, will work directly with members of the NBAA exhibits team to identify their optimal location, considering both the exhibitor’s requirements and available inventory.

NBAA assigns appointment times for this live placement process by first grouping exhibitors into priority categories using the criteria listed below. All exhibitors within each priority category will then be assigned appointment times ahead of the exhibitors in the next lower priority category. Except for 2022 NBAA-BACE sponsors and as noted below, appointment times for exhibitors within each priority category are determined by random draw.

Priority Categories for Indoor Exhibitors

To qualify for the priority placement, exhibitors must submit exhibit applications with full payments by the Feb. 17, 2023, deadline.

Priority One Exhibitors

  • Original airframe manufacturers who reserve both an indoor booth and aircraft display space, either indoors at the Las Vegas Convention Center or at Henderson Executive Airport (HND)
  • Exhibitors that reserve a minimum of 2,000 square feet of contiguous space

Priority Two Exhibitors

Priority two exhibitors are those companies that request less than 2,000 square feet and select premium placement.

Priority two exhibitors that have exhibited for 10 consecutive years will be assigned their online placement times ahead of other priority-two exhibitors.

Priority Three Exhibitors

Priority Three exhibitors are those companies that request exhibit space less than 2,000 square feet and have exhibited on a 10-year consecutive basis.

Priority Four Exhibitors

Priority four exhibitors are those companies that submit applications and full payments by Feb. 17, 2023, but do not meet criteria for the previous priority levels.

Exhibitors Submitting Applications After the Priority Deadline

Companies who submit payments and applications after the Feb. 17, 2023, deadline will be placed in the order that they are received after all priority-one through priority-four exhibitors have been placed.

NBAA-BACE Sponsors

2023 NBAA-BACE exhibitors in priority two, priority three and priority four, who were sponsors at 2022 NBAA-BACE with sponsorship spends of $2,500 or greater will be placed before other exhibitors within their respective priority category or subcategory.

Appointment Times for Priority One Exhibitors

Priority one exhibitors will be ordered and assigned appointment times based on the following criteria:

  • All original airframe manufacturers with an aircraft scheduled to be on display – either inside the Las Vegas Convention Center or at Henderson Executive Airport (HND) – will be ordered and assigned by indoor booth size and assigned appointment times by descending order ahead of other priority one exhibitors.
  • Other priority one exhibitors will be ordered and assigned appointment times by descending order of the number of indoor exhibit spaces reserved as of priority deadline.
  • Where two or more exhibitors have reserved the same number of spaces, exhibitors will be ordered and assigned appointment times by descending order of sponsorship spend at 2022 NBAA-BACE.
  • Exhibitors that have reserved the same number of spaces and had the same sponsorship spend at 2022 NBAA BACE will be ordered and assigned appointment times by random draw.

Live Placement Process

The live placement process for 2023 NBAA-BACE is scheduled to take place in May (for Priority One Group) and June 2023 (for Priority Two, Three and Four).

Once priority status has been determined for all eligible exhibitors, each exhibitor will receive an email that includes the following:

  • The appointment time and call-in details for their live, online priority exhibit space placement
  • Link to complete priority placement results, appointment time and details for the priority placement process
  • Proxy information to be used in the event an exhibitor is unable to call at their appointed time
  • Reminder of permissible booth configurations and hanging sign rules

At their assigned appointment times, exhibitors will use the meeting information provided in the confirmation to discuss exhibit plans and exhibit space options with the NBAA exhibits team. After an exhibitor selects their exhibit space, the floor plan will be updated online in real time.

Following the priority exhibit space placement, each exhibitor will receive a booth confirmation that includes their booth number and a link to the exhibitor service kit, exhibitor badge registration, marketing tools and more.

Placement of Indoor Aircraft Display Exhibitors

To fully maximize limited space, indoor aircraft exhibitors are placed by NBAA in a “best fit” manner while keeping aisles, fire marshal and operational considerations in mind.

Indoor aircraft display exhibitors who also reserve indoor exhibit space will be included in priority-one for the indoor booth placement.
