Sustainability at 2023 NBAA-BACE
Business aviation is and has long been committed to environmental sustainability. NBAA’s goal is to make NBAA-BACE the most environmentally sustainable trade show in the world. This can only be achieved with the help of our exhibitors, attendees and industry partners.
NBAA-BACE Sustainability Highlights
-
♻ Reducing Material Waste
By using digital signage and designing for reuse, thousands of square feet of material were conserved from being used! NBAA has shifted from plastic to aluminum water bottles for its own use.
-
♻ Renewable Energy & Carbon Offsets
NBAA-BACE commits to resourcing renewable energy where available, reducing carbon dioxide emissions and offsetting 100% of the remaining impacts.
-
♻ Net Zero Carbon Events Pledge
NBAA has joined with hundreds of event organizers, venues, exhibitors and suppliers to support the goal of net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050. Learn more about the Net Zero Carbon Events Pledge.
-
♻ Exhibitor Sustainability Pledge Doubled In 2022
At 2022 NBAA-BACE, nearly 100 exhibitors of all sizes committed to making their NBAA-BACE exhibits more sustainable by taking actions large and small to reduce their carbon footprint and reduce waste. We plan to expand that effort at 2023 NBAA-BACE.
