This one-day course focuses on skills and tools needed by aviation professionals looking to develop their leadership knowledge and address today’s industry challenges and opportunities. Participants will leave energized and ready to foster team engagement, improve communication, encourage collaboration, motivate and influence others, raise performance, and build an overall culture of safety and service.

This course is highly interactive and allows participants to examine and sharpen their leadership skills and build confidence with other aviation professionals through scenarios, activities and discussions focused on the business aviation environment.

This workshop is perfect for individuals of all roles in flight departments, FBOs, charter management, OEMs and MROs.

This course fulfills PDP Objective Leadership L3.

Dr. Sian Proctor, Astronaut, Pilot – Inspiration4, Geoscientist and Space Artist

Dr. Proctor is a geoscientist, explorer, space artist and astronaut. She is the mission pilot and the first black civilian astronaut for the Inspiration4, the world’s first all-civilian orbital mission to space. Dr. Proctor is also one of The Explorer’s Club 50: Fifty People Changing the World, a multidisciplinary, professional society dedicated to the advancement of field research, scientific exploration and resource conservation. Combat Leadership Principles for Business and Life

Dave Berke, Director of Leadership Development

Dave Berke is a retired U.S. Marine Corps officer, fighter pilot, ground combat leader and now a leadership instructor and speaker with Echelon Front, where he serves as Chief Officer of Development and Curriculum. As a F/A-18 pilot, he deployed twice from the USS John C Stennis in support of combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. He spent three years as an Instructor Pilot at the United States Navy Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor program – TOPGUN – where he served as the Training Officer, the senior staff pilot responsible for the conduct of the TOPGUN course.
