Streamlining Air Taxi Operations with LOAs in Class B Airspace
Speaker: As air taxi operations become a reality, integrating electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft into already busy Class B airspace presents both opportunities and challenges. This presentation, “Streamlining Air Taxi Operations with LOAs in Class B Airspace,” will explore the findings from groundbreaking simulations conducted by Joby Aviation in partnership with NASA. Using Letters of Agreement (LOAs) as a key procedural tool, these simulations demonstrated how major airports can accommodate up to 55 air taxi operations per hour without overwhelming air traffic controllers or disrupting existing commercial flight flows. Presenters will delve into the strategies tested at Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and Dallas Love Field (DAL), focusing on how LOAs can reduce communication burdens, streamline traffic flows and ensure safety in high-density environments. By examining real-world case studies and future mid-term operational models, this presentation will showcase how existing air traffic management systems can be adapted for the rise of air taxi services. Attendees will gain insights into the practical applications of LOAs and corridor-based operations, providing a blueprint for safely scaling air taxi operations at Class B airports worldwide. |

Why You Should Expect More Than Fast With In-Flight Connectivity
Moderator: Panelists: Results from the latest survey from Viasat and Corporate Jet Investor (CJI) have indicated that expectations around business aviation connectivity have evolved considerably. Traditional speed-based plans are now outdated, especially those that advertise a top-speed without details around when, where and how frequently it will be achieved. Instead, savvy business aviation customers have broadened their focus to the overall experience. So, are the days of speed test decision-making finally over? And what is the new definition of world-class connectivity for business aviation? |

Direct Aviation with Electra’s Ultra Short Aircraft
Speaker: Don’t miss this program update on Electra’s Ultra Short aircraft! Electra is defining the next level of connectivity through Direct Aviation – a new category of reliable, efficient and sustainable travel that makes new connections possible by bringing air travel closer to where we live, work and play. Electra’s Ultra Short aircraft uses a combination of blown lift with distributed electric propulsion to take off and land in less than 300 feet – opening new operating locations previously reachable only by helicopters and eVTOLs, but with 70% lower operating costs and 7x the range of eVTOLs. With ongoing test flights of its hybrid-electric Ultra Short prototype, Electra is flying the path forward. |
