Safety will be in focus like never before at the 2024 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE), with events and education sessions addressing the industry’s most pressing topics.

That was the message from a LinkedIn Live event – moderated by NBAA Safety Committee Chair and CEO of Aviation Performance Solutions Paul “BJ” Ransbury – which previewed the safety sessions taking place in conjunction with and during the convention.

“NBAA was founded in 1947 by 19 individuals from 19 companies who came together for the purpose of fostering an environment that would allow business aviation to thrive,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. “Their top focus was safety.”

NBAA continues to foster an environment that allows business aviation to thrive by ensuring the industry is safe and, importantly, is perceived to be safe, he added.

“Safety is a shared issue, and our industry is constantly judged by what people see in the news related to business aviation and business aviation safety,” said Bolen. “We will use these opportunities at NBAA-BACE to focus on the industry’s fundamental, foundational value of safety.”

Anyone who missed the LinkedIn Live can view a recording of the event.
