Grab your clubs for the James Sullivan Travel Fund Charity Golf Tournament – a fun event for a great cause. Join 2025 NBAA Maintenance Conference attendees and exhibitors and tee off to raise money for the James Sullivan Travel Fund, which offsets airfare, transportation, lodging and food costs AMT Maintenance Scholarship winners incur during their awarded training.

Many scholarship recipients are not yet employed by a company that is able to cover these expenses, so this travel fund is essential for scholarship winners. Your participation in this event helps these worthy recipients continue their journeys to a career in aviation maintenance.

The tournament includes a series of fun minigames, including the Red Solo Cup Long Drive Contest, Liferaft Chipping Contest and Putting Contest. Test your skills and earn bragging rights in a fun and relaxed setting.

The tournament will also feature a silent auction where participants can bid on tools, aviation services, electronics, memorabilia, travel packages and more.

NBAA AMT Maintenance Scholarship Program

The NBAA Maintenance Committee is dedicated to promoting technical education and training as a means for business aviation maintenance technicians to enhance their careers. To support this, NBAA offers current and aspiring maintenance technicians the opportunity to receive scholarships. The golf tournament and silent auction proceeds all benefit the AMT Maintenance Scholarship Program, which is designed to help offset travel and lodging expenses incurred by scholarship award recipients during training.
