Martin is recognized within the Universal family, and within the industry, for his expertise in business aviation. This is especially valuable given the constantly evolving landscape of the scheduler and dispatcher roles within business aviation.
Martin’s experience, both military and civilian environments, allows him to combine his experience and knowledge, and apply it to scenarios in the classroom and in the real world. His background in weather and flight planning has allowed him to build and develop an aircraft dispatching program that has graduated over 300 students who perform dispatching functions around the world.

Juan Muniz
Lead Global Regulatory Specialist, Universal Weather and Aviation, Inc.
With over 22 years of extensive international regulations, operations, and training experience with Universal Weather and Aviation, Inc., Juan Muniz has established himself as a business aviation global regulatory expert. An industry leader in the business aviation regulatory sector, Muniz now holds the title of Global Regulatory Services Product Owner. He has presented at key industry events around the world on various regulatory topics. His regional expertise includes the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Europe and extends to sustainability, including emissions trading schemes and carbon offsets. A co-leader of the NBAA PDP Course: Essentials in Scheduling & Dispatch for Business Aviation, Muniz has been leading regulatory training initiatives at Universal over the past 14 years.
