Continuing Education – 2026 NBAA Aircraft Transactions Workshop
CPE Credit
Attending NBAA’s Aircraft Transactions Workshop provides a maximum of 6.6 hours of continuing education (CPE) credits for accounting professionals. In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, CPE credits have been granted based on a 50-minute hour.
NBAA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.

Learning Objectives
Completion of the 2026 NBAA Aircraft Transactions Workshop will achieve the following learning objectives:
- Identify best practices for assembling an acquisition team and defining transaction goals.
- Review the essential legal provisions in letters of intent and aircraft purchase agreements.
- Analyze technical due diligence strategies and the management of pre-purchase inspections.
- Apply negotiation techniques to resolve common conflicts in aircraft purchase and sale scenarios.
- Understand the administrative requirements and documentation necessary for a successful closing.
- Evaluate the regulatory and tax complexities of unique or cross-border transaction structures.
CLE Credit
The 2026 NBAA Aircraft Transactions Workshop has been approved for 7 hours of CLE credit (based on a 50-minute hour) by the Colorado Office of Continuing Legal & Judicial Education. To receive credit for CLE compliance purposes, Colorado attorneys must self-report CLE credits earned at this event by logging into their online CLE transcript. The course ID is 874977.
NBAA does not submit this program for approval to any other state bar or CLE provider. Attendees seeking CLE credit in states other than Colorado must submit their own application using information from this event page.
NBAA will provide registered attendees who have scanned in and out with an emailed attendance confirmation letter following the event. The attendance confirmation letter may be used as part of an individual application to a state bar for CLE credit.
