CPE Credit

Attending NBAA’s Business Aviation Taxes Seminar provides a maximum of 7.6 hours of continuing education (CPE) credits for accounting professionals. In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, CPE credits have been granted based on a 50-minute hour.

NBAA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.

Cancellation Policy: A 10% processing fee will be charged for cancellations received in writing on or prior to April 7, 2026. There will be no refunds after April 7, 2026.

Learning Objectives

Completion of the 2026 NBAA Business Aviation Taxes Seminar will achieve the following learning objectives:

  • Review the regulatory frameworks for various aircraft ownership and operational structures.
  • Analyze the impact of the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” on bonus depreciation and other tax provisions.
  • Understand how to perform advanced SIFL calculations for imputed income reporting.
  • Evaluate the rules for entertainment disallowance and their effect on aircraft expense deductibility.
  • Examine the tax and regulatory considerations for multi-owner aircraft arrangements.
  • Analyze state tax planning strategies and exemptions for aircraft based in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Understand security risks and privacy concerns regarding flight tracking and personally identifiable information.
  • Evaluate the tax consequences of various cost-offset strategies for aircraft owners and operators.

CLE Credit

NBAA does not submit this program for approval to any state bar or CLE provider. Attendees seeking CLE credit may submit their own applications using information from this event page.

NBAA will provide registered attendees who have signed in and out with an emailed attendance confirmation letter following the seminar. The attendance confirmation letter may be used as part of an individual application to a state bar for CLE credit.
